The Franchise is looking towards new and fresh starts as David warner is going to lead the side instead of Rishabh pant, with Axar Patel as the new vice-captain.
The Franchise had posted a photo of new jersey with the quote, “Yeh Hai Nayi Dilli Ki Nayi Jersey.” Jersey looks pretty good, But it’s not about the jersey but the performance also, the team has to perform to win the title.
Delhi seemed bad the previous year, as they didn’t even qualify for the playoffs.
The team made many mistakes during that season which they don’t want to repeat this year like there is a gap of quality finishing players as we have seen some of the matches their team didn’t do well at the death overs, which in return led to having low scores on board.
Despite it, In Ipl 2020, the team has formed phenomenally as they end their journey as runner-up. The season was good for them as things were sorted, and the Franchise had a balanced squad.
The team looks balanced this year, The camps are set up, and the players like Prithvi shaw and Chetan sakariya have joined the camp. And many other domestic players too joined the camp.
