"Kya faltu batting kra humne"- Ajinkya Rahane's unfiltered message to Shreyas Iyer after PBKS vs KKR
Kolkata Knight Riders under the leadership of Ajinkya Rahane had a terrible outing in the game against Punjab Kings. The two teams were up against each other at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur on Wednesday (15th April).
Punjab Kings registered one of the best wins in the history of the Indian Premier League as they beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 16 runs. What was impressive was, even after scoring just 111 runs, they won the match with ease to bag important points.
Punjab Kings had a terrible outing with the after they had a solid start, thanks to Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh. But after that, they faced a terrible collapse and got all out for just 111 runs. Harshit Rana along with spinners Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy shined with the ball.
In the chase, Kolkata Knight Riders lost both the openers early and after that skipper Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Ajinkya Rahane steadied the innings. It seemed that it would be an easy win for the defending champions but that wasn't the case as Punjab bowlers made a strong comeback.
Yuzvendra Chahal picked four wickets in the middle while pacers in Marco Jansen and Arshdeep Singh also oozed his class. They bundled out Kolkata Knight Riders for just 95 runs and bagged the game by 26 runs, defending the lowest ever total in the history of the league.
As the Kolkata Knight Riders faced the disappointing loss against Punjab Kings, Ajinkya Rahane looked extremely guilty. During the post-match handshake, he was seen saying to Shreyas Iyer:"Kya faltu batting kra humne"

After the loss, Ajinkya Rahane took the blame on himself, saying that they played poorly. Speaking about the same, he explained: "Nothing to explain, we all saw what happened there. Pretty disappointed with the effort. I'll take the blame, played the wrong shot, although it was missing. He wasn't very sure (his chat with Angkrish after being given out LBW).
