Fans on Twitter reacted after Indian T20I vice-captain Shubman Gill bagged another failure in the game against Oman in the Asia Cup 2025. The match between the two teams is taking place at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

Shubman Gill, whose inclusion in the Indian team for the Asia Cup 2025 coped a lot of criticism, was expected to make a big impact with the bat in the ongoing tournament. However, he hasn't been able to do that and has bagged a lot of scores in the three games so far. 

Shubman Gill hammered an unbeaten 20 in the first game against the UAE and then against Pakistan he got out early, slamming 10 runs off 7 balls. It was then expected that he would set the stage on fire with the bat during the game against Oman in the ongoing game in Abu Dhabi.

Shubman Gill, who opened the innings for India, failed as he was removed by Shah Faisal. The left-arm pacer bowled a full delivery that swung in late and Gill was drawn into the drive. It left a gap between bat and pad for the ball to sneak through. He got beaten on the inside edge and the off-stump was flattened.

Shubman Gill was back in the hut after slamming just 5 runs off eight balls, slamming just one four. He didn’t look comfortable during his stay at the crease. The Oman bowlers tested him big time as he bagged his second consecutive failure.
