Jasprit Bumrah Out, Arshdeep Singh In - Check India’s Probable XI vs Oman Asia Cup 2025
The Last group stage match of the Asia Cup 2025 is between India and Oman at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The Indian National Cricket team has already qualified for the Asia Cup 2025 Super 4 round, whereas Oman will be playing their last match of the tournament. It is going to be a one-sided game, and the Indian Team will have a dominating performance.
Oman has played two games so far in this tournament, and they have lost both of them. However, the Indian Team has also have played only two games and they won both the games with dominating performances as India vs Pakistan also. It is not going to be easy for Oman's skipper Jatinder Singh to restrict the Indian Team to a decent victory.
As per the report, we might see a few changes in the Playing XI as the Super 4 round is going to start from September 20, so some of the key players like Jasprit Bumrah. Jitesh Sharma or Rinku can also get a chance in the Playing XI in the match against Oman.
Why is Bumrah Being Rested?
Jasprit Bumrah is currently the best pacer in world cricket, and the Indian Team will try to use him on special occasions. Bumrah had a knee injury a few months back during the India vs England Test series, and with the busy Asia Cup Schedule and the upcoming Super 4 stage.
The Indian management will try to manage its workload by giving rest against a relatively weaker side like Oman. The Indian Team has already qualified for the Super 4, and the result of this match will not affect the Super 4 round.
Giving Bumrah rest will help the Indian Team; he will remain fresh for the high-pressure matches against teams like Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh in the Super 4. Each will be crucial, and the schedule will be quite tight, so players need to be properly rested and ready.

Who will replace Bumrah in the India vs Oman Match?
As per the reports, Arshdeep Singh will be replacing Jasprit Bumrah for the India vs Oman match. Arshdeep is known for his swing bowling and control in death overs, and he has been a promising pacer for the Indian Team in the T20I cricket in recent years.
