World Test Championship (WTC) Points Table [Updated] after PAK vs ENG 3rd Test: England registered an eight-wicket victory in the 3rd Test match in Karachi, to complete their historic clean sweep against Pakistan in the three-match test series. In just four days of play, England gunned down the task of 167 runs in the last innings. With the series win, England has partially, or perhaps completely, knocked out Pakistan from the World Test Championship (WTC) final race.

Earlier in the game, Pakistan notched up 304 runs score in the first innings with skipper Babar Azam playing the highest 78 runs knock. England spinner Jack Leach scalped four wickets while Rehan Ahmad got two in his bag.

In pursuit of 304 runs total, England succumbed in front of Pakistani bowlers, but not before taking a 50-run short lead. Middle-order batter Harry Brook completed his century while Ollie Pope and wicketkeeper batter Ben Foakes helped with their fine half-centuries. England had scored 354 runs in the loss of 10 wickets in the second innings.

Pakistan couldn’t do anything better in the third innings of the match as they were bundled out for 216 runs. Rehan Ahmad, who made his debut in the match, was the pick of the bowler as he scalped a maiden five-for.

England chased down 167 runs total comfortably on day four. Opener Ben Duckett remained unbeaten at 82 run score while skipper Ben Stokes scored 35 runs to complete the unassailable victory against Pakistan.

Notably, this is Pakistan’s first complete test series white-wash in home conditions. This article will lead you through ICC World Test Championship (WTC) Points Table [Updated] after PAK vs ENG 3rd Test.
