What are the chances of India winning the Asia Cup 2025?

Since the tournament is in T20I format, India will be captained by Suryakumar Yadav in the Asia Cup 2025. This means that it will be a young indian team that will be playing there. The youngsters, after the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, have done extremely well in the format, scoring truckloads of runs.

The likes of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Abhishek Sharma, Rinku Singh, Tilak Varma and others have been magnificent. Their combination, along with experienced guys in Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, and Shreyas Iyer, will make India a great force to reckon with.

The fearless brand of cricket that India has played makes them a strong force in the tournament. They have won the last two ICC events, which speaks about the kind of impact they have made in T20Is. Also, the fact that other participants in the Asia Cup 2025 are struggling makes them favourites.

The likes of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have been struggling in the format. While the other being the associate countries have less chance to win the tournament. Hence, considering all the things, India have a great chance to win the Asia Cup 2025.
