Watch: Pakistan National team got ridiculed in the middle of the ground vs India! DJ played 'Jalebi Baby' instead of the national anthem
The Indian National Cricket Team, under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav, defeated Salman Ali Agha-led Pakistan very easily in the sixth match of T20 Asia Cup 2025. After restricting their fierce-rivals to a modest score of 127 runs, the defending champions won by seven wickets. In the match held at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, the Shaheens won the toss and chose to bat first. Just before the live action, the national anthems of both the teams were sung. Since Pakistan won the toss, their national anthem was sung first, but at the time of its start, something happened, the video of which went viral on social media.
'Jalebi Baby' was played instead of the National Anthem
Actually, both the teams were ready for the national anthem and were standing on the field. But the DJ mistakenly played a pop song 'Jalebi Baby' instead of Pakistan's national anthem. This song was played for a few seconds before Pakistan's national anthem started. Pakistani players looked surprised to see this happen, but when the national anthem was played, they immediately focused their attention on their national anthem. After its video went viral, fans started mocking Pakistan on social media. Fans flooded social media with memes and comments.

Pakistan faltered in the beginning itself
After winning the toss and batting first, the Pakistan cricket team fell like a pack of cards in front of India's lethal bowling. Their skipper Salman Ali Agha had said at the time of toss that he wanted to score runs, but when his team came out to bat, the decision proved to be horrific as his side were on the backfoot from the very first ball. Seamer Hardik Pandya, who came to bowl the first over of the match, bowled the first ball wide. But, on the first valid ball, opening batter Saim Ayub got caught by Jasprit Bumrah inside the 30-yards circle. After this, the Indian bowlers wreaked havoc on the Pakistani batsmen. The second wicket was taken by Bumrah.
Surrendered in front of Indian trio
After this, the fear of Indian spinners was visible on Pakistani batsmen. Their batters were not able to understand the variations of Indian spinners. In front of the trio of Kuldeep Yadav (3-18), Varun Chakaravarthy (1-24) and Axar Patel (2-18), the Green Shirts managed to put up a score of mere 127 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs. They would not have crossed the 100 run mark if Shaheen Afridi, who came to bat at number nine, hadn't played an unbeaten knock of 33 runs, hitting four sixes in 16 balls.
Apart from this, Sahibzada Farhan scored 40 runs in 44 balls. For India, Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets giving just 18 runs in four overs. Axar Patel took two wickets. Jasprit Bumrah also took 2 wickets. Varun Chakaravarthy and Hardik Pandya got one wicket each.
