The 2025 ICC Champions Trophy kick-started today, and for the opening ceremony, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) arranged a wonderful Air Force aircraft show. The Pakistan Air Force marked the beginning of the tournament, and the show took place after the teams were ready to take the field.
However, the show didn't go well with the fans and players of the New Zealand Team. As the airforce planes soared overhead, Kiwi openers in Devon Conway and Will Young seemed to be afraid as they ducked to protect themselves from the aircraft.
Not only the players, but the fans in the Stadiums also looked scared. What caught the attention of many was the reaction of one kid in the crowd. He hilariously covered himself, signalling from threat but was relieved once the planes went past the stadium.

New Zealand started well with the bat, adding 39 runs for an opening partnership. But the Pakistan National Cricket Team then made a slight comeback with three quick wickets. Will Young has kept the Kiwis in the game with his solid half-century and is looking set for a ton.
Tom Latham, on the other end, has looked solid as well as the duo had added over 50 runs in partnership at the time of writing this piece. They would be keen to carry on and help the New Zealand National Cricket Team post a massive total on the board.
