The UPT20 match featured a last-ball drama in which the Lucknow Falcons overcame the Kanpur Superstars by two wickets despite chasing a huge 222-run goal. Over 400 runs were scored over both innings at Kanpur’s Green Park Stadium, delighting the crowd.

The Kanpur Superstars, who were given the opportunity to bat first, sped through the powerplay after opening batsmen Saurabh Dubey (56) and Ansh Yadav (61) wreaked havoc on the Lucknow Falcons’ bowlers to record the highest powerplay score of the Jio UPT20 tournament with 80/0.

The Kanpur Superstars scored 16 runs in the last over, riding the power of the bat of Sandeep Tomar, to enable them to a commanding total of 221/5.

The Lucknow Falcons responded by scoring 67/1 on their power play. Aanjaneya Suryavanshi and Harsh Tyagi (46), despite the arduous aim in front of them, created a fantastic platform. With this win, Lucknow Falcons jumped to the 2nd spot in the UP T20 League Points Table. The undefeated Noida Super Kings are still on the top of the UP T20 League Points Table with 3 victories.
