The Hundred 2026: Schedule, Auction, Time Table, Teams, Format, Venue - All You need to know

The Hundred 2026 is all set to return for its sixth edition in 2026, which is scheduled to be played from July 21 to August 16, 2026. The Hundred 2026 Auction will take place on March 11 & 12 for Women’s 7 Men’s, respectively.

The Hundred 2026 is all set to return for its sixth edition in 2026, which is scheduled to be played from July 21 to August 16, 2026. This is going to be the first time in The Hundred that a players' auction will be held, which makes this tournament more exciting. MI London and Sunrisers Leeds will be playing the opening match on July 21 at The Kia Oval, London.

The Hundred 2026 Auction will take place on March 11 & 12 for Women’s 7 Men’s, respectively. There are 8 teams each in men’s and women’s of The Hundred, and each double-header will have a women’s game first, then a men’s game on the same day. A total of 64 matches will be played in the group stage - 32 men’s and 32 women’s.

The Hundred 2026 Auction Details

The Hundred 2026 will have its first-ever player auction, the women’s auction will take place on March 11, 2026, while the men’s auction will be on March 12, 2026. Ahead of The Hundred 2026 Auction, each team is allowed to retain at least one player from their 2025 squad and can make up to four new signings before the auction.

The Hundred 2026 Format:

The Tournament will be played in a 100-ball Format, each innings will be of 100 balls, and bowlers can bowl sets of 5 or 10 balls, and the fielders can switch every 10 balls. The Hundred 2026 will be played in a round-robin format, which means that a team will play against all other opponents (7 games) and a regional rivalry bonus.
