T20 World Cup 2026: Warmup games schedule, dates, venue, time & more
The stage is all set for the T20 World Cup 2026 as the tournament will begin on February 7 with the final set to be played on March 8. The tournament will be played across different venues in India and Sri Lanka.
Almost every team has announced their squad for the T20 World Cup 2026, while a few remaining teams will be naming their teams soon as the deadline is approaching, which is the 31st of this month.
India will enter the tournament as the defending champions, having won the last edition in 2024. They will also be favourites to win the title, especially with the brand of cricket that they have played under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav.
Ahead of the T20 World Cup 2026, all the teams will be featuring in warm-up games in India and Sri Lanka, which will begin on February 2. A total of 16 games will be played. India will play one game, while India A will also feature in the warm-up games.
Navi Mumbai, Chennai, and Bengaluru will host warm-up games of the T20 World Cup 2026 in India, while R Premadasa Stadium is the fourth venue in Sri Lanka.
