Johnson Charles scored 38 runs for the team, wicketkeeper batsman Pooran scored 36 runs, and captain Rovman Powell scored 36 runs in 17 balls with the help of five sixes.

England easily achieved the target of 180 runs in 17.3 overs with the loss of only three wickets. Opener Philip Salt played an unbeaten innings of 87 runs in 47 balls with the help of seven fours and five sixes. In the middle order, Jonny Bairstow played an unbeaten innings of 48 runs in 26 balls with the help of five fours and two sixes, earning the team two important points in the Super-8 match.
