Suryakumar Yadav played one of the best knocks of his life against England in the 3rd T20I. India lost the game by a mere 17 runs, all thanks to this fighting knock by Surya. Suryakumar Yadav is the 5th Indian who has scored a T20I hundred. So, who are the other 4? The IPL has given us several T20 sensations. And a few names in this list are a boon by the IPL itself. Also, Surya is one of the most skillful 360-Degree players. Here is an in-depth look at the others who have scored a hundred:

1) Suresh Raina was the first Indian who scored a hundred like Suryakumar Yadav:

Suresh Raina was the first Indian who scored a T20I hundred. He did it in style. It was in the T20 World Cup 2010 edition. He scored it against the mighty South Africans. Because of this knock, India dominantly won the game. Suresh Raina was a force to reckon at number 3 before Virat Kohli walked in. Being left-handed gave him the added advantage.

2) Rohit Sharma:

Rohit Sharma has not 1 or 2 but a total of 4 T20I hundreds. He also holds the record for the fastest hundred in international cricket off 35 balls alongside David Miller. Rohit and his dominance in T20 cricket came in the years 2017, 2018, and 2019. Off-late his form has been decent. But on his day, Rohit can take the game away single-handedly. There is no other player who can time the ball better than Rohit. He plays the short ball exceptionally.

3) KL Rahul is Another Indian who scored a hundred like Suryakumar Yadav:

KL Rahul is another Indian who has more than 1 hundred at the international level. He has scored 2 of them. And both of these hundreds have come against top T20 teams. The first one was against the West Indies and the 2nd one was against England. The first one was in a losing cause while chasing and the other won and got the team on the winning side. KL Rahul and his dominance on the IPL since 2018, speak volumes of his skill.

4) Deepak Hooda:

Deepak Hooda is the latest entrant in this elite list of players. He slammed his first international hundred against Ireland last week. He was India’s top batter in the two-match series. Hooda has been on the rise for the past few years. He was suspended from the Baroda Cricket Association wrongfully. He shifted to Rajasthan Cricket Association and created history. When all windows get closed, you must have the ability to break open a door, and Deepak has done exactly that. He was an important part of the LSG team too.
