Rajasthan Royals Batter Riyan Parag, who was on 20 march appointed as Rajasthan Royals’ captain for their first 3 matches of Indian Premier League 2025, after becoming the captain of Rajasthan Royals faces severe backlash on social media after fans claimed that star batter of Rajasthan Royals and Indian cricket team Yashasvi Jaiswal was more perfectly deserved this role than any other players present currently at Rajasthans' squad.
This decision was given after the Sanju Samson who was the captain previously revealed that he want to be playing as pure batter in first 3 matches.
Social media started trending that Jaiswal was the perfect fit for this position, amid of Jaiswal's consistent performance for the Rajasthan Royals.
