Pitch for the third IND vs ENG Test revealed; Check the pictures and nature of the surface

The IND vs ENG returns again on Thursday (15th February).  Both the teams will be locking horns with each other in the third match, which will be played at Rajkot. After the second game, the two teams had a short break but now they have regrouped and are all set to go up against each other.

With IND vs ENG third Test just a day away from now, there has been a lot of speculation about what kind of pitch BCCI will prepare. There were several reports that claimed that it might be a rank turner so that Indian spinners could get desired helped and trouble opponents.?

However, all those speculations have been put to rest as the pitch for the third IND vs ENG Test has been revealed. The reports in TOI have brought out the picture of the Rajkot surface a day ahead of the game between India and England on 15th February. 

By the looks of it, the pitch of the third IND vs ENG Test looks flat. Therefore it is likely to favour batters more and both the teams would be delighted with it. The surface also is expected to be a slow turner, which brings spinners into the equation for the game.?

Rajkot traditionally is known for supporting fast bowlers and it won?t be a surprise if pacers play a part too. All in all, it is expected to be a good track and it promises to be an enthralling clash between the teams, especially with the series being levelled.

The IND vs ENG series is levelled at 1-1 and both the teams have played a magnificent brand of cricket. England won the first game in Hyderabad before India made a comeback in the second match to level the series. 

It is not going to be a rank turner - Kuldeep Yadav on the pitch for IND vs ENG third 

India spinner Kuldeep Yadav provided an update about the pitch for the IND vs ENG Rajkot Test. He revealed that it won?t be a rank-turner and will be a good wicket. Speaking to reporters ahead of the match, he stated:

?It is not going to be a rank turner, but will be a good wicket. When we say it is going to be a batting (friendly) wicket we do not mean that 700-800 runs will be scored here, but it will be a better wicket compared to playing on a rank turner. I hope it helps the spinners who play.?

It remains to be seen who will emerge victorious in the third IND vs ENG Test in Rajkot.
