Pakistan squad for the Asia Cup 2025 prediction

Pakistan has been struggling big time for the last few months. Ever since they have adopted the policy of playing young players in the T20Is, they have struggled badly. They recently faced a series of losses against Bangladesh and will now be keen to change their fortunes going ahead. 

One of the key tournaments that they would be keen to perform in will be the Asia Cup 2025. The ACC tournament, as per many reports, is all set to take place in September and will feature as many as eight teams. It is expected to take place in the UAE.

The Asia Cup 2025 will be a perfect opportunity for Pakistan to rejuvenate itself and give its fans something to cheer about. It is expected that they would name a young team for the tournament, but some seniors are expected to be back. 

For the openers, there's no doubt that Saim Ayub and Fakhar Zaman will be there. Also, there are chances that Babar Azam might be back. The senior batter has been performing well in the domestic circuit, and the team management would want some experience in the middle. 

Skipper Salman Agha will be there in the middle order and will play a great role with the ball as well. Along with him, Abrar Ahmed, Sufyan Moqim and Mohammad Nawaz are expected to handle the spin bowling department.

Mohammad Haris is likely to be there as a keeper and will be a key player for the team. He has been a decent player for the side in the T20Is and would be keen to take his team to glory in the Asia Cup 2025. 

The pacer department is expected to see familiar names in Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf. Supporting them will be all-rounder Faheem Ashraf.
