PAK vs IRE 2024: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the schedule for the Pakistan Tour of Ireland for the three-match T20I series, which is scheduled to start from May 10. Pakistan will be playing the T20I series against Ireland before the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 to prepare themselves for the ICC mega event, which will start on June 01, 2024, in the USA and West Indies.
However, Pakistan will have their new skipper before this series as PCB has formed a new selection committee to appoint a new skipper for the Pakistan Men’s T20I Cricket Team. The first match between Pakistan and Ireland will be played on May 10, 2024, at Malahide Cricket Club in Dublin, it is going to be exciting to see how Pakistani players will perform on the pitches of Ireland.
Before the Ireland tour, Pakistan will be playing a five-match T20I series against New Zealand at their home. The T20I series between Pakistan and New Zealand is set to start from April 18 to April April 27 and Pakistan’s key players will also be playing in this series to get rhythm and also perfect playing XI for the T20 World Cup 2024.
As of now, PCB is likely to announce their new skipper of Pakistan Men’s T20I Team in a couple of days. Babar Azam and Mohd. Rizwan is in the race to become the new captain but PCB has yet to make an official confirmation of the captaincy. Currently, All 29 Pakistani players are in Kakul for the training camp with Pakistan’s army to have good fitness before the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.
