The first match of the two-match Test series between West Indies and New Zealand is being played at Hagley Oval in Christchurch. After the first day's play, New Zealand could score only 231 runs in 70 overs in which they lost 9 wickets. Devon Conway was out on the third ball of the innings for zero runs, after which the game was interrupted for some time due to rain, but after the start, the visiting team West Indies managed to put continuous pressure on the home team.
