New Zealand tour of Pakistan 2023: In April 2023, New Zealand will play Five T20 international and Five ODI matches in Pakistan. Both Teams have already announced their squad for the upcoming T20I Series in Pakistan. From April 13, both teams will play their T20 international series.
The Pak vs NZ T20 series 2023 will consist of 5 T20I matches starting on April 13 2023, and ending on April 23 2023. The first four matches will be held in Karachi, and the last T20 will be played in Lahore.
Babar Azam will lead the Pakistan team for the T20I series against New Zealand under the mentorship of Saqlain Mushtaq as a head coach. On the other hand, New Zealand will be led by new skipper Tom Latham for the T20I series.
Babar Azam has played 89 T20I matches for Pakistan and has become the only Pakistani player who has crossed the Milestone of 3000 T20I runs. Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam are the two most important batsmen for the Pakistan team. This series is going to be exciting for cricket fans all over the World.
As per the Updated T20I ranking of teams, New Zealand is in the 5th Position, whereas Pakistan is in the 3rd Position in the latest ICC T20 Team ranking. Regarding head to head record in the T20I, Pakistan and New Zealand played 25 matches in which New Zealand won 10 matches, and Pakistan Won 15 matches.
In the ODI series, both will play five matches at different venues in Pakistan from April 27 to May 07.
