This is officially confirmed by N Srinivasan owner of Chennai Super King that CSK is going to retain MS Dhoni not only in IPL 2020 but also next season 14. N Srinivasan told that CSK is MS Dhoni and MS Dhoni is CSK. MS Dhoni plays cricket or not he will be always the part of Chennai Super King (CSK).
