Jadeja, who was sent up the order alongside Shivam Dube as they scored crucial fifties for their team, eventually handing them the lead, probably had the best batting innings of this edition. 

MI’s batting Innings: Rohit and Suryakumar stun at Wankhede

Mumbai Indians scored their best powerplay on the home ground as they chased a target of 177, which didn’t seem threatening on the tracks of Mumbai. 

Rohit Sharma defied claims of his probable impact being reduced in the game for the Mumbai Indians as he played a blistering 76* knock and took MI to the target with more than 3 overs remaining. 

Suryakumar Yadav, on the other hand, played an even more blistering knock in the game as he swept the spinners continuously either for fours or sixes. SKY’s 68* from just 30 balls came when MI needed another partnership to chase the total after the first wicket fell for 63. This was MI’s first hundred-run partnership in the powerplay.
