Royal Challengers Bangalore | BCCI/IPL

Royal Challengers Bangalore: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is about to complete one week and so far there has been a staggering competition between bat and ball. There has been dominance, close encounters, fierce battles and many things on the offer so far in the league and it is expected that the coming games would give even more moments for fans to cheer. By the first look at all the teams, it’s fair to say that Royal Challengers Bangalore looked the most threatening as they showed utter dominance in their first game. If they play the way they did in their opening encounter, it’s quite safe to say that they can end their title hunt this season.

In what will be a major boost for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), two of their star players in Wanindu Hasranga and Josh Hazlewood will join the team by next week. While the Sri Lanka spinner will join the franchise by 10th April, the Australian pacer will be with the team by the 14th April.

Wanindu Hasranga was engaged in international duties with Sri Lanka, who were clashing with New Zealand in the T20I series. Whereas Hazlewood has been nursing an injury for a while. It is also learned that he will miss a few games even after joining the team and will be available for the team from the fourth week of April.

The presence of Hasaranga and Hazelwood will strengthen the Royal Challengers Bangalore lineup even more. It’s fair to say that the team is in red-hot form and with the quality these two will bring to the team, it’ll be difficult for the opposition to beat them.

Royal Challengers Bangalore recently thumped Mumbai Indians in their first game of the IPL 2023. The Faf du Plessis-led produced a staggering effort with both bat and ball and thumped the five-time champions by 8 wickets. First, they bowled exceptionally well and restricted the opposition to a total of 171 runs.

After that, it was a class of Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis that oozed out and made MI bowlers look clueless. They stitched 148 runs for the opening partnership and guided their side to the first win of the tournament. Both smashed half-centuries and started IPL 2023 on high.
