The Australian head coach Justin Langer expressed his feelings on how much impressed he is with Hardik Pandya’s performance. Justin Langer heaped praises on Hardik Pandya and comparing him with MS Dhoni,(former Indian Captain). Pandya’s heroic took India to a six-wicket win against Australia in the second T20I.
Hardik Pandya smacked 22-ball 42 at the end of the innings of 2nd T20I to seal the game as well as the series. Shikhar Dhawan set the tone for the game with scintillating 36- balls 52 while Hardik Pandya took the charge to finish in the same tone.

In the virtual press conference, Australian Coach Justin Langer said, “It was an incredible game of Cricket all throughout. Everyone knows how threatening he (Pandya) is. In the past, we had Mahendra Singh Dhoni and the way he kept the innings today… He has played really well all summer. So, obviously, it was a great innings at the end there.”
Justin Langer said, India used their experience to get the victory and they were too good the whole game.
“It was a very close game. Our (Australian) fielding was absolutely magnificent, it was a treat to watch, but they (India) used their experience in the T20I game and were too good for us today.”
Langer also praised Virat Kohli’s innings and said he is one of the best players in the game.
“I have said for years he (Virat Kohli) is the best player I have probably ever seen. Some of the shorts he played today were outstanding and India stitched a good opening stand and got over the line quickly,” said Australia Coach.
Australian Coach was also highly impressed with Mathew Wade’s led side. He said they have got enough runs on boards to defend but India outplayed us.
“I am really proud of my boys. It was a great spectacle, India vs Australia on Sunday. It was so close, it was exciting at the same time. We (Australia) batted really well, we had a good total to defend. India outplayed us and batted really well.”
