2. KL Rahul (Lucknow Super Giants)

Star Indian batter KL Rahul is another name that is coming out in the news who could leave his team ahead of the IPL 2025. Rahul has been with LSG for the last three seasons, but they couldn't make it to the playoffs in 2024. There was also footage where LSG owner Sanjeev Goenka was seen shouting at him on the ground. All these things have ignited rumours that Rahul might leave LSG. However, Rahul's contract with the Lucknow franchise is also over, so there is a chance that he might look to end his tie with them.

A big name that can leave his team is Rishabh Pant. The swashbuckling batter made his IPL debut for Delhi Capitals in 2016 and has been an integral part of the team since then. He has played 111 matches and scored the most runs for the franchise. But according to a report from Dainik Jagran, the DC franchise is not happy with the captain and is thinking of releasing him.
