Tournament Format

The IPL will continue with its established ten-team format, divided into two groups. Each team will:

Play twice against teams in their group.

Play twice against the team in the same row in the other group.

Broadcasting Rights

These editions will be the first IPL seasons after the merger between Viacom18 and Star India, forming JioStar. Previously, Star India held the satellite broadcasting rights, and Viacom18 managed the digital streaming rights through JioCinema for the 2023–27 IPL cycle.
