The two decorated sides announced their respective jerseys for the upcoming edition of the IPL on Thursday, March 07.

Mumbai Indians (MI) have retained their iconic Blue and Gold hue in the jersey, which renowned designer Monisha Jaising has conceptualised.

The jersey has the elements of Mumbai’s spirit along with the designs portraying the relentless energy, diversity, and undying optimism of the franchise over the years.

“The spirit of Mumbai & MI has always been a force to be reckoned with, and it lies in the relentless energy, diversity, undying optimism, heart and hard work that drives its favourite team and fans. It is this very essence that I have tried to capture in the design, inspiring both players and fans, knowing that they carry with them the heart of Mumbai and Mumbai Indians,” Monisha said in an official statement.

On the other side, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have also revealed their colours for the seventeenth edition of the IPL. As the team calls it “Fiery Heat,” the jersey is conceptualised on a yellow base with striking black designs throughout.

Ace pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar was seen donning the brand-new design as the team announced its jersey across its social media platforms. It captioned, “Ready to unleash the fiery heat of Hyderabad Our New blazing armour for #IPL2024 #PlayWithFire.”
