IPL Points Table Rules

Each winning squad in the IPL receives two IPL team points, while the losing team receives zero. Both teams receive one point if a game is tied or abandoned for any reason.

If two teams are tied on points, the squad with the most victories is given a higher ranking. However, the IPL’s net run rate (NRR) determines which team is superior if they both have an equal number of victories. Based on a team’s winning or losing score in each game, the IPL NRR is determined.
