The bells for the Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) have started to ring as we are inching close to the auction process. There has been constant chatter amongst the fans across different social media platforms about the possible player retention and release in each franchise. Rishabh Pant and Co at the end found themselves hanging at the fifth position in the points table after 14 league stage matches, of which they managed to win seven.

Nevertheless, this isn’t the end of the world for anybody. The next edition of the tournament will bring several new opportunities for every franchisee to correct mistakes and start afresh.
