Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals have underperformed as per their talents in this season of the IPL. The teams have a humungous fan following and get support in every ground they play. Unfortunately, both squads faced heavy losses in their initial matches.

While Mumbai Indians lost their first two matches against Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings and couldn’t defend their scores, Delhi Capitals have now registered heavy losses in their first 4 matches against Lucknow Super Giants, Gujarat Titans, Rajasthan Royals and now Mumbai Indians.
In the following video call between the couple, Rohit expresses his emotions towards the first victory of the team. With his special knock, he also won the Player of the Match award, which he dedicated to his baby girl. His wife claims her voice is gone post cheering for her husband and the team. While Rohit claims he has seen multiple nail-biting matches like these in these 15 years of the IPL history.

The 16th Match of the TATA IPL 2023 was a thriller to watch. Held in the Arun Jaitely Stadium, Delhi, DC vs MI, was a decider till the last over. Rohit Sharma (Captain, Mumbai Indians) scored a fiery knock as he put 65 runs on the board while taking just 45 deliveries. He smashed six fours and four sixes with a whopping strike rate of 144.44. With the grace of Tilak Varma and Cameron Green, Mumbai Indians sealed a great victory.
Mumbai Indians are struggling with form since they won the IPL title in 2020. They have not qualified for the playoffs for 2 years and have not had a great kickstart to the 15th edition of the IPL. It’s never too late, as now Mumbai Indians have finally made a move on the points table and have begun their journey with the two points.
