IPL 2023 Mini Auction: Royal Challengers Bangalore can bid on these three players: Royal Challengers Bangalore is the only team whose fans expected them to win the trophy before the start of the IPL, but only disappointment seems to have followed them until the end of the tournament. Royal Challengers Bangalore have qualified for the finals thrice (2009, 2011, and 2016) in the history of the IPL but unfortunately have not won the trophy even once.

Big stars have played for this franchise such as Universal Boss Chris Gayle, Mr. 360 AB de Villiers, and Dale Steyn, the king of fast bowling, but despite all this, the team has failed to lift the trophy. Supporters of other teams jokingly say that both Salman Khan’s marriage and RCB winning the trophy are impossible to tease the fans of RCB. But RCB’s supporters should not forget that the word impossible itself says “impossible.” Well, jokes aside, the team management is trying to make the impossible possible this year. So on which 2 big players this franchise can stake a claim in the mini-auction, read further in this article

MANISH PANDEY

IPL 2023 Auction: Manish Pandey

Manish Pandey’s IPL season may not have been as good as the last two seasons, but there is no dearth in his batting technique. Along with batting, his name also comes up as one of the best fielders. Along with Virat Kohli, he will also be helpful in stealing runs between the wickets at a fast pace in the middle order. Apart from converting singles into two runs, he also has the ability to hit sixes and fours in the middle order.

Manish Pandey is the first Indian player to score a century against the Deccan Chargers while playing for RCB in the 2009 IPL edition. While the 2020 IPL season was the best of his career, playing for the Mumbai Indians, he scored 425 runs in 16 matches.

Pandey has played well for RCB in the past as well, and if RCB is also looking for a batsman who maintains the run rate in the middle order, there is no better option than Manish Pandey for all these roles. This is the reason why RCB may target Manish Pandey in the mini-auction.

ADAM ZAMPA

RCB’s biggest problem is its bowling attack. The team loses the match even after scoring 200 runs. In such a situation, after the departure of Indian leg-spinner Chahal, the team looks even weaker. But Zampa can make up for Chahal’s shortcomings. He has a lot of variation as well as the ability to bowl the googly. And Zampa has also played for RCB before, so he is well aware of the strengths and weaknesses of the team.

The team only has Wanindu Hasaranga of Sri Lanka as a leg-spinner; if RCB management manages to buy Zampa from the auction, then maybe this spin pair can prove to be effective for the team. But Sunrisers Hyderabad can backfire on all these plans, as Hyderabad has the most money in the auction for any franchise. He currently has 42.25 crores in his bank account, which could ruin the party for all teams.
