IPL 2023 Auction
IPL 2023 auction to held at Kochi

IPL 2023: It was quite a disappointing loss for India in the semi-finals against England by 10 wickets. Hopes meltdown and a feeling of ‘heartbroken’ for the whole of India as again this year, we got knocked out from the semi-final of an ICC tournament. Just a request to the Indian fans that do not troll the players because they are still Indian players and themselves are going through grief. Team India was clinical throughout the tournament but in the semifinal, that was just one of our bad days.

Coming back to IPL 2023 Auction, the stage is set for the mini-auction of IPL 2023. While talks were on to organize it in Istanbul or Bengaluru, this time the auction will take place in Kochi on 23 December 2022. The official confirmation though will be made after the conclusion of the ICC T20 World Cup final. It will be a mini-auction, as every team has a stable squad that they built during the IPL 2022 mega auction earlier this year.

15 November is the deadline for all the franchises to submit their final list of retained and released players. This time, each franchise can retain a maximum of 15 players. They have to release the remaining players. For IPL 2022, the squad size was set at a minimum of 18 and a maximum of 25.
