IPL 2023 Auction: Chris Gayle, Raina, Eoin Morgan to be part of expert panel for IPL 2023 mini-auction: Former West Indies cricketer, Chris Gayle will be back for the IPL 2023 auction, confirmed Jio Cinema ahead of the event. The Caribbean batter, who has lit up the tournament with his swashbuckling batting during his playing days, will be a part of the expert panel roped in by the Jio Cinema for the IPL 2023 Auction.
Alongside Chris Gayle, former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina and former England’s World Cup-winning captain Eoin Morgan will also be part of the star-studded panel that will hold the mic for the event that is scheduled to be held on December 23 in Kochi.
While Chris Gayle has scored over 4500 runs during his stint in the Indian Premier League (IPL), southpaw Suresh Raina has racked up in excess of 5500 runs in the elite tournament. Both players come in the list of the top 10 highest run-getters of the IPL.
Meanwhile, Eoin Morgan, who boasts an exemplary record for his national side, somehow failed to unleash his best in the Indian Premier League. Morgan has mustered 1405 runs in 85 IPL matches.
Jio Cinema confirmed the list of experts for the mini-auction in the teaser released on Friday.

IPL 2023 Auction Stats:
Notably, as many as 405 cricketers from all around the world will go under the hammer on 23rd December. Out of 991 enrolled players for the IPL 2023 mini-auction, only 405 players could draw the attention of the 10 IPL franchises.
Out of 405 players, 273 are domestic players while 132 are overseas cricketers including 4 from associate nations. The list of players includes 119 capped and 282 uncapped cricketers.
As many as 87 slots are required to be filled by the IPL teams in the auction, of which 30 slots will be filled by foreign players.
