Simon Katich, the former Australia batsman has quit the position of assistant coach from the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Simon has reportedly parted ways with the franchise after the fallout and his pre-auction plans being ignored. The report has been published by “The Australian”, a daily in Australia. The Sunrisers Hyderabad management has been in turmoil ever since David Warner left the franchise back in 2021. At that time, Trevor Bayliss and Brad Haddin quit their jobs as the head and assistant coach respectively. All the 3 individuals have left with a sour taste in their mouths. After that, former Australian all-rounder Tom Moody was roped in as head coach. Tom also appointed Simon Katich as the assistant coach.
