The bowlers too have done very well. The game on Wednesday was also very eventful and fun. The boys from Bengaluru took on the guys from Kolkata. The RCB team had an exceptional bowling performance from Akash Deep and Wanindu Hasaranga ads well. The Royal Challengers Bangalore won by 3 wickets and 4 balls to spare. Here is an in-depth look at the same.

IPL 2022, KKR Playing XI:
IPL 2022, KKR VS RCB, KKR Batting Innings(1st):
The thriller contest began with RCB winning the toss. Like every other team was doing this year, Faf chose to field first. This decision is taken considering the presence of dew in the stadium. The match took place at the DY Patil Stadium. Royal Challengers Bangalore were in a different mood. They dominated the first innings entirely. Akash Deep was clocking 145 kmph. He got rid of Venkatesh Iyer. Rahane too fell to Siraj. KKR was struggling at 44-3 when Rana got out. Each batter got out playing a loose shot.
Then began the Hasaranga and Harshal show! The duo of ballers picked 6 wickets in the middle overs and rattled the KKR batting. Wickets fell at regular intervals. Hasaranga completely out-foxed Sheldon Jackson and bowled through his gate. The lone warriors for KKR were Andre Russell who got out at 25 of 18 balls and Umesh Yadav who hit a few shots in the end. KKR ended with a mere 128 on board.
Total: KKR, 128/10.
Andre Russell: 25 of 18 balls.
Wanindu Hasaranga: 4/20.
Harshal Patel: 2/11.
IPL 2022, KKR VS RCB, Royal Challengers Bangalore Batting Innings(2nd Innings):
Faf Du Plessis came out to bat alongside Anuj Rawat. Umesh Yadav was bowling his zing-fast pace. He took the wicket of Anuj Rawat as Rawat handed out a catch to Sheldon. Virat Kohli walked out to bat and smoked two crispy boundaries to Umesh. He was looking in good touch. Faf too was feeling himself. But a jaffa from Tim Southee got rid of him. RCB was struggling at 17-3 when Kohli too handed out a catch to Sheldon Jackson.
David Willey and Sherfane Rutherford then stitched a partnership. They moved the ball around to take the score to 62 before he fell. Shabaz Ahmed then walked in and handled the innings well. His innings gave momentum back to the RCB team. Sherfane Rutherford played a very mature inning of 28 of 40 balls. The game was at a crucial stage when 29 were required for the last 4 overs. Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy had spun a web around the RCB batters. The 19th over was given to Venky Iyer and there is where Shreyas made a mistake. That over could have been given to Dre Russ!
But in the end, Dinesh Karthik safely finished the game for the men in red. RCB takes two points out of 2 games.
Total: RCB, 132/7.
Sherfane Rutherford: 28 of 40 balls.
Shabaz Ahmed: 27 of 20 balls.
Umesh Yadav: 2/16
Tim Southee 3/20.
