Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021: Ever since the IPL 2021 auctions dates and registrations were announced, Arjun Tendulkar had got limelight as he has registered for the IPL 2021 auctions. The son of batting legend Sachin Tendulkar finds an extra edge and has been into the scanner of the fans who are expecting his debut in IPL this season.
Arjun is the left-arm seamer and is a regular face in the Indian net bowlers. He has featured in many district games and intra-state games for his team. The left-arm seamer for India is a breed which is rarely found and the demand for such players in the team is high.

In the List A games, Arjun has played just two games and picked two wickets. His average is around 33 and with a poor economy of 9.57, it will become hard for the seamer to break into a franchise in IPL.

He neither had success with the bat as he scored 3 and 14 runs in List A and Youth games respectively.

Arjun recently features in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy game which makes him applicable for registration in IPL 2021 auctions. In the 401 overs he bowled in the practice match, he failed to impress the selectors and hence it will be extremely tough to get into the Vijay Hazare Trophy for him.
Looking at his stats in the list A games and Youth games as well as in the practice match, Arjun will find it difficult to get an IPL contract. However, he can still get an IPL contract.
