Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021: KL Rahul Led Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) is in the speculations to bring in their facelift edition this season. Ahead of the Indian Premier League 2021, KXIP is under the speculations to bring up the new logo and name for the coming edition of IPL.

The franchise owned by Bollywood actress Pretty Zinta, Ness Wadia, Mohit Burman and Karan Paul.

The recently concluded season of the cash-rich league for the Kings XI Punjab franchise was no less than a roller coaster ride. KL Rahul led side did a major turnaround by winning five games on the trot after back-to-back initial embarrassing losses. The consecutive win somehow raised the hopes to secure the berth in the playoffs of the cash-rich league while CSK threw them out of the contention in the do-or-die game.

After the humiliating season, the franchise was convinced to do the revamp of the side. According to the reports by various news outlets, KXIP will unveil the new name and logo of the franchise ahead of the IPL 2021 auction.

Sportskeeda has reported that the franchise will reveal the name on 17th February one day before the IPL 2021 auctions.
The franchise is yet to bag the IPL title and has reached the final once. Ahead of the auction, KXIP has retained 16 players and has whopping INR 53.2 Crore.

The released list includes Glenn Maxwell, Sheldon Cottrell, K Gowtham, Mujeeb ur Rahman, Jimmy Neesham, Hardus Viljoen, and Karun Nair.

To fill the voids created by releasing players, KXIP will run after the players as they have huge purse value left. With the new name and logo, KXIP will acquire some serious talents.
