The English Cricketer, Ben Stokes joined inaugural champions Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2018 auctions for whopping 12.5 crores. Stokes who form the core of Royals has been instrumental in leading the franchise. In IPL 2021, Ben Stokes was retained by Rajasthan Royals for the same price.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

Highest Paid Player – Pat Cummins

IPL 2021 Salary – 15.5 Crore

Total IPL Salary – 5,146,602.69 USD

The Aussie pacer, Pat Cummins was brought by Shahrukh Khan owned franchise in IPL 2020 auctions for whopping 15.5 crores. The pacer however could not justify his price tag in IPL 2020. It will be interesting to watch the pacer in action.

IPL 2021 Salary – 11 Crore

Kannur Lokesh Rahul, the skipper of Kings XI Punjab was acquired by the franchise in  2018 auctions. Rahul will be leading the side once again. Last time the cricketer emerged as the highest run-getter of IPL 2020 in just 14 games. Rahul amassed around 600 runs with a tremendous average of over 50.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)

IPL 2021 Salary – 12.5 Crore

David Warner is the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad, the franchise brought the left-handed batsman in 2014. Since then he is the part of the one-time champions. Warner has an amazing record for the franchise. In 2020 IPL, Warner scored 548 runs in 16 games and was the leading run-scorer for SRH.

The captain of the most successful IPL franchise, Rohit Sharma was brought by the franchise back in 2011. The defending champions have retained Rohit Sharma for whopping INR 15 crores and will lead the side. In IPL 2020, Rohit amassed 332 runs in 12 games.

Royal Challenger Bangalore (RCB)

IPL 2021 Salary – 17 Crore

Total IPL Salary – 19,653,160.15 USD

Virat Kohli is the only cricketer to feature for only one franchise since IPL inception in 2008. Kohli has been a valuable buy for RCB and has scored a lot of runs for them. In IPL 2021, RCB retained their skipper for 17 crores. Kohli in IPL 2020 scored 466 runs in 15 games.
