IPL 2021: Disney plus Hotstar signs 10 Sponsors for IPL 2021.
IPL 2021: Official live streaming platform of Indian Premier League (IPL), Disney plus Hotstar has made a strong start to their IPL 2021 campaign. India’s largest streaming platform has roped in as many as 10 sponsors for the upcoming season of IPL.
BCCI secretary Jay Shah on Sunday disclosed the dates and schedule for the fourteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Indian T20 tournament will begin on 09th April where defending champions Mumbai Indians will clash with Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai. The final of 52 day-long tournaments will be held on 30th May.
Dream 11 will be the ‘Co-presenting Sponsor’ for Disney plus Hotstar along with Vimal Pan Masala and Upstox as ‘Co-powered By’ sponsors. Apart from these three – Phone Pe, Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI), Unacademy, Swiggy, Pharmeasy, Livspace, and Parle Agro have signed on as Associate Sponsors will be its associate sponsors.
“IPL is a prime sporting property that provides advertisers with an opportunity for real-time consumer engagement on Disney+ Hotstar. Going by the response from the market, IPL 2021 promises to be an even more significant opportunity for brands. All key features such as Super 4s, Super 6s, Fall Of Wickets, Milestones, and Super Savers have sold out within a short period, and we see early closures across categories,” Star & Disney India President – Ad Sales Nitin Bawankule.
“With a host of innovative advertising formats, targeting on connected TVs, and custom branded content solutions, brands have the unique opportunity to reach a highly engaged and affluent audience through the sharp targeting options available on live sports,” he added.
Disney plus Hotstar will stream the Indian T20 League in 5 different languages – English, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil. Anyone having a Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription or Disney+ Hotstar Premium subscription can enjoy the games in any languages they want from the aforementioned five.
