“I like Virat’s attitude but he fights a lot,” says BCCI President Sourav Ganguly

Indian fans trolled Pakistani fans after BCCI hired all DRS crew to operate in IPL 2021.

Its no doubt that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is the richest cricket board in the world and its performance in the international fixtures rightly complements it. Though the prowess of BCCI is no secret to anyone, however, there have been several instances when these came top of the news and picked up the limelight. One such instance was seen recently following which the Indian fans brutally trolled the Pakistani cricket fans.

The Indian cricket board has always tried to do something exceptional and add a little more excitement in the Indian Premier League than the last edition. The addition of new franchises, cheerleaders, and involvement of the fans (directly or indirectly) in the T20 League are a couple of things that the BCCI tried and it worked for them.

Taking one step ahead, the BCCI has recently hired three Decision Review System (DRS) crews that were earlier supposed to operate in the Pakistan vs New Zealand home series.

Rohit Sharma (Mumbai Indians) and MS Dhoni (Chennai Super Kings).

As per the reports, the BCCI offered those crews four times more of what PCB was offering them to operate in Pakistan’s home series. The three DRS crews were dragged to the IPL operation and the Pakistan home series is now being played without DRS.

The unavailability of DRS in Pakistan vs New Zealand three ODIs and five T20Is have forced the officials to exclude the home series from ODI Super League. The series is scheduled to begin on September 17 in Pakistan’s Rawalpindi.

The move of BCCI has left PCB fans pissed and the Indian fans have relentlessly mocked their Pakistani counterparts. The Indians suggested Pakistani’s to start crowdfunding to fetch money and afford Decision Review System (DRS).

To add salt to the wounds, the top Kiwi players, who were earlier supposed to be in the Pakistan tour, are now participating in phase 2 of the IPL 2021 and are already with their respective franchises in the UAE.
