The rain gods are showing no respite to the fans as the third and final ODI of the India vs New Zealand series could also be washed out. With the cancellation of the 2nd ODI in Hamilton, there are high chances that the final match of the series will meet the same fate. Heavy rain is predicted in Christchurch on Wednesday, 30 November. The third and final match of the three-match ODI series will be played between India and New Zealand at the Hagley Oval. According to Weather.com, Christchurch has a 50% chance of rain on 30 November. The temperature during the day is expected to be around 20°C, while it is expected to go down to 11°C during the night. The humidity is expected to be 60% during the day, while it will increase by 22% (82%). However, the chances of rain are expected to stay at 50% during the night as well.

The Hagley Oval pitch in Christchurch provides equal traction for bowlers and batters.  The seamers may be in the driver’s seat as long as they maintain the right line and length.
