Team India is set to take on bitter-rivals Australia, led by Mitch Marsh in the fourth T20I of the BKT Tyres five-match T20i series on Thursday (November 6). Both teams have won one match each in the ongoing series. The first T20I was washed out due to rain. The winner will take the lead in the series. Cricket fans are now waiting to see if wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson will play. Sanju did not play in the third T20. Instead, Jitesh Sharma was the wicketkeeper. Suryakumar said he was happy to win a toss after losing 19-20 consecutive tosses. He added that the three changes made to the playing XI in the third T20 were right and that he was happy that the three players who came in as substitutes performed well.
This means that substitutes Arshdeep Singh, wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma and Washington Sundar are certain to get a chance in the upcoming matches. This means that batsman Sanju Samson, spinner Kuldeep Yadav and pacer Harshit Rana may also be out of the upcoming matches. Suryakumar said that despite not being in the squad, the three substitutes had continued to practice hard and were waiting for their chance.
