INDIA U19 in SEMIFINAL! U19 Asia Cup 2025 Semifinal Qualified Teams and Full Squads

The U19 Asia Cup 2025 has reached its most-awaited stage as the semifinal lineup is now confirmed. The four best teams have booked their places in the TOP 4s after impressive performances in the group stage. Both the semifinals will be played on Friday, December 19, in Dubai.

India U19 dominantly entered the semifinal. They finished on top of Group A after wins against UAE, Pakistan and Malaysia. India’s last match in the campaign came against Malaysia, where wicketkeeper batter Abhigyan Kundu played a sensational knock of 209 not out, guiding India to a massive total of 408 for 7. Malaysia were bundled out for just 93 as Deepesh Devendran picked up a 5-wicket haul. India have looked balanced throughout the tournament with strong batting depth and disciplined bowling.

Bangladesh U19 sealed the top spot in Group B after defeating Sri Lanka by 39 runs. Their innings was set up by an 84-run opening stand between Zawad Abrar and Rifat Beg, followed by useful contributions from captain Azizul Hakim and Kalam Siddiki. Despite a late collapse, Bangladesh defended 225 comfortably. Bowlers Iqbal Hossain Emon and Shahriar Ahmed played key roles as Sri Lanka were bowled out for 186.

Pakistan U19 confirmed their semifinal place after winning a virtual knockout against UAE. Batting first, Pakistan posted 241 with Ahmed Hussain scoring a patient 65. UAE started well in the chase but collapsed badly, losing seven wickets for just 29 runs. Abdul Subhan of Pakistan starred with the ball, taking 4 for 31 and earning the Player of the Match award.

Sri Lanka U19 qualified despite their loss to Bangladesh. Chamika Heenatigala showed fight with a top score of 41, but overall inconsistency in batting cost them the match.
