Coming to the playing 11 for the Indian cricket team, there’s no brainer that skipper Rohit Sharma will be at the top and will open the innings for the team. Shubman Gill, who has been the team’s best batter in ODIs, is expected to open the innings alongside the captain despite Ishan Kishan’s surety in the XI.
Virat Kohli will be there at No.3 whereas at No.4 it is expected that Shreyas Iyer will bat. The right-hander will be returning from injury after a while. But he has been India’s best batter in the middle order as before getting injured, he smashed truckloads of runs for the team and many times bailed them out of trouble.
KL Rahul has been ruled out of the first two games and therefore he’ll be missing the upcoming IND vs PAK game. In this place, it’s almost certain that Ishan Kishan will be there in the team. The management might use him as a floater in the game.
Hardik Pandya along with Ravindra Jadeja are likely to be the two all-rounders in the team along with Shardul Thakur, is likely to be there as a third seamer and a handy batter down the order. Kuldeep Yadav is also expected to handle the spin bowling alongside Jadeja.
Jasprit Bumrah no no-brainer will be there as the leader of the bowling attack. But there is likely to be a tussle between Mohammad Shami and Mohammed Siraj as the second pacer in the team. Both have performed exceptionally well in the recent past and it’ll be a real headache for the team.
