The Indian Cricket Team are locking horns with the New Zealand Cricket Team in the second match of the three-match ODI series. The match between the two teams is taking place at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot on Wednesday, January 14.

India won the first IND vs NZ ODI in Vadodara and now would be keen to wrap up the series in the second ODI itself. The hosts were forced to make a change in the XI after Washington Sundar was ruled out of the entire series.

Washington Sundar suffered a rib injury in the first IND vs ODI game. He went off the field after bowling just five overs. In his place, Ayush Badoni was added to the team but he will have to wait for his debut in Indian colours.

For the second IND vs NZ ODI, India made one change to their XI. Washington Sundar was replaced by all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy. It will be a great opportunity for the youngster to seal his place in the team in ODIs.

Nitish Kumar Reddy last played for India in ODIs against Australia and after that didn’t feature in the South Africa series. He would want to make the most of the opportunity and help his team with bat and ball.
