The Indian Cricket Team are all set to lock horns with the New Zealand Cricket Team in the last match of the series. The match will be played at the Holkar Stadium in Indore on Sunday, January 11.

The IND vs NZ series is levelled at 1-1 and the focus is now on the third match, which will be a series decider. India won the opening match with ease before New Zealand made a comeback in the second game in Rajkot to level the series and give fans everything to cheer about.

With both teams giving their best, the IND vs NZ third ODI promised to be an exciting one. Coming to India, they lost the last match, and it is certain that they will make some changes to the XI for the final game.

The opening combination for India no doubt will be the same. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill will take the top two spots and a lot would be reliant on them. Gill has been in top form, slamming two back to back fifties, while Rohit failed to go big in the third ODI and it will be an important game for him.

At three and four, India have fixed batters in Virat Kohli and  Shreyas Iyer. Both have played an instrumental role in ODIs and have looked in decent form in the IND vs NZ series. At five, KL Rahul will be there and will keep wickets as well.

Rahul slammed a magical ton in the last match and at a time when others struggled. He would want to carry on his form and win the next match. Ravindra Jadeja has struggled to get going with the bat and ball in the series. But is expected to retain his place as there aren’t many options available.

Ayush Badoni is expected to make his debut in the IND vs NZ third ODI and is likely to replace Nitish Kumar Reddy, who hasn’t been able to make a mark. Kuldeep Yadav will be the wrist spinner and he too would be keen to make a comeback as he has looked out of sorts.

In the fast-bowling department, India are likely to make a change. While Mohammed Siraj and Harshit Rana are expected to retain their place in the team, Arshdeep Singh is likely to replace Prasidh Krishna in the XI.
