IND vs IRE 2023: India won the 2nd T20I match by 33 runs; Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh register new records: The second T20I match between India and Ireland was played on August 20, 2023, at Malahide Cricket Club in Dublin, Ireland. India won the match by 33 runs.

India batted first and scored 185/5 in 20 overs. Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 58 runs off 42 balls, whereas Sanju Samson scored 40 in 26 balls. For Ireland, Craig Young took two wickets for 29 runs.

Ireland were restricted to 152/8 in 20 overs. Andrew Balbirnie top-scored with 72 off 51 balls, whereas Mark Adair scored 23 off 15 balls. For India, Jasprit Bumrah took two wickets for 15 runs.

Overall, it was a good match, and India deserved to win. They will be looking to continue their same form and winning momentum in the third and final T20I match.

IND vs IRE 2023 2nd T20I Match Summary:

India won the toss and elected to bat first. They had a good start, with Ruturaj Gaikwad scoring 58 runs off 43 balls. Sanju Samson also contributed with a 40-run knock in 26 balls, whereas Rinku Singh played an excellent inning of 38 runs.

Ireland bowlers kept things tight in the middle overs, but India managed to get to a good total thanks to some late hitting from Rinku Singh and Shivam Dube, who led Team India to a good total of 185/5 in 20 overs.

In reply, Ireland got off to a poor start, as they were at 30/3 in the powerplay. Andrew Balbirnie has shown fantastic cricket and scored 72 runs in 51 balls, but the rest of the batters failed to score runs.

India bowlers were disciplined and picked up wickets at regular intervals, and they restricted Ireland to 152/8 in 20 overs. Skipper Jasprit Bumrah has bowled a superb spell with two wickets for 15 runs. He was well supported by Prasidh Krishna, who took two wickets for 29 runs.

This was India’s second consecutive win in the series. They have now taken an unassailable 2-0 lead. The third and final T20I match will be played at the same venue on August 22, 2023.
