IND vs ENG: India captain Rohit Sharma was once again at his hilarious in the press conference. The senior opener gave a thrashing reply to England batter Ben Duckett for his comments ahead of the fifth Test against England.
India will be taking on England in the last match of the series from 7th March. The match will take place at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Stadium in Dharamsala. The IND vs ENG series stay 3-1 in favour of India and they would want to win the last game as well.
One of the main reasons why India is dominating in the ongoing IND vs ENG game is Yashasvi Jaiswal. He has been terrific with the bat in the ongoing series and has piled up over 600 runs. The opener has batted aggressively and has smashed two double tons as well.
Recently England opener Ben Duckett was asked about Yashasvi Jaiswal and he said that the India batter took inspiration from Bazball and that’s why he has played aggressively in the IND vs ENG series. Duckett claimed that England’s aggressive approach has affected India too.
Just ahead of the fifth IND vs ENG game, Rohit Sharma was asked in the press conference about Ben Duckett’s comment. The India skipper came up with a savage reply, saying that the England batter probably hadn’t seen Rishabh Pant batting.
“There was a guy called Rishabh Pant in our team, probably Ben Duckett hasn’t seen him play,” Rohit Sharma stated.
Rishabh Pant ever since making his debut for India in Tests has changed the dynamics of the cricket. He bats with an aggressive mindset and has won India many games. For last one year he has been out of action due to the accident he met with and will be returning soon.
