IND vs ENG: India captain Rohit Sharma is all set to achieve a record in international cricket. The opening batter is just 3 sixes away from becoming the leading six-hitter by an Indian skipper in International cricket. 

Rohit Sharma is expected to achieve the milestone in the upcoming IND vs ENG Test series.  India is all set to host England in the five-match Test series. The matches will begin from 25th January and will end in March. 

Rohit Sharma will be the key for India in the IND  vs ENG series as not only as a batter but he needs to up his ante as a captain as well. The Indian captain has been the team’s best Test batter in the longest format of the game for the last few years.

Rohit Sharma currently has scored 6628 runs to his name in Test cricket. The batter has an average of over 45 and also has slammed 10 centuries and 16 half-centuries to his name. The batter also has 77 sixes in Test cricket and is on the verge of becoming a leading six-getter as well. 

Rohit Sharma is the leading six-getter as a player in the international cricket. He would be hoping to achieve the feat of the leading six hitter by an Indian skipper in International cricket in the upcoming series. IND vs ENG will be a huge opportunity for him to achieve the feat.

The upcoming IND vs ENG series will be a huge opportunity for Rohit Sharma to break the massive record of great MS Dhoni and Virender Sehwag in the Tests. The Indian captain is just 14 sixes away from becoming the leading six-hitter in the longest format for India. 

Rohit Sharma currently has 77 sixes and is just two sixes away from surpassing MS Dhoni, who has 78 sixes. If he hits 14 sixes in the series, he can go past Virender Sehwag (90 sixes) to become the leading six-hitter for India.
