IND vs BAN: The Indian team under new head coach Gautam Gambhir and skipper Suryakumar Yadav are looking to great new dimensions for their side.

After the World Cup triumph in 2024 under Rohit Sharma , India had to part ways with their most veteran cricketers in the shortest format of the game, as a result they are looking to rebuild their core team ahead of the next T20 World Cup, where India would enter as the defending champions.

After the initial Sri Lanka T20I series which India dominated, they will now take on Bangladesh on their own land. The likes of big names like Rishabh Pant, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jasprit Bumrah are already absent from the side due to management of workload.

India have once again included the unstoppable Abhishek Sharma into the side as an opener, the left-handed batting genius scored a maiden hundred on international debut series and won every heart with his amazing shots.

Alongside the rising youngster is the promising Sanju Samson who might be seen taking up the role of an opener in the absence of others, while he might also be seen in a wicket-keeping role.

Middle order Batters

The tally will be led by the dynamic Suryakumar Yadav who might be the no.3 promoted batsman.

Following the skipper , Riyan Parag might also be seen in a promoted role as he comes to bat in at no.4 and might also roll in a few oversaw with the ball.

Indian world cup winner and T20 veteran Hardik Pandya might also be the next most obvious name on the list and the other all-rounder would be Shivam Dube as both are often seen as smashing finishers.
