IND vs AUS: "Fraud Shubman Gill should be dropped" - Fans raise call to bring Yashasvi Jaiswal in T20Is as Indian vice captain fails in Hobart

Fans on Twitter reacted after Indian Cricket Team vice-captain Shubman Gill failed to score in the third T20I against the Australian Cricket Team. The match between the two teams is taking place at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart on Sunday, November 2.

After India was asked to chase the target of 187, Abhishek Sharma (25) in his usual way took the team off to a flyer. But what was a massive surprise was Shubman Gill’s struggle at the crease. The batter looked scratchy when he was expected to make a big impact.

Having failed in the last two T20Is, Shubman Gill was under pressure. It was certain that he would come up with a big innings but that wasn’t the case as he failed yet again as India came under massive pressure.

Shubman Gill was removed by Nathan Ellis as the batter was trapped in lbw. He even opted for the DRS but the ball hit him straight and he had to take the long walk back to the pavilion, having bagged another failure in the shortest format of the game.

Shubman Gill was back in the hut after scoring just 15 runs off 12 balls. He slammed just one boundary in his innings and with his wicket, India were left reeling at 61 for two inside the power play.

Ever since he became the vice-captain of the Indian T20I team, he has struggled to get going. His scores read: 20(9), 10(7), 5(8), 47(28), 29(19), 4(3), 12(10), 37*(20), 5(10), 15(12)
